Without doubt and hesitation, this is obviously good sake. Its balance, mixture, aroma, richness and etc…, everything is more than average. But it is slightly better than average. The sparkling is not so recognizable as it says on the label. This is Junmai Daiginjo made from Gohyakumangoku which is one of the major sake rices. There are nothing wrong, but I cannot find any distinguished features which convince me of this sake being excellent.

I cannot exactly specify the reasons why. Though Chiba Prefecture is not famous for Japanese sake, this brewery has produced high quality of sake products. I expect the same quality to this limited version. But, I would say that this sake is good, but not that good enough to justify its price. The retail price after tax is $19.00.
