This sake is made at the brewery near Tokyo. The brand name of the product lines implies that the brewery is located near the sea, but it is not in reality.
It was interesting that I felt two different facets of this sake at the first sip. One is very traditional taste of Japanese sake. The other is modernized fruity. I tasted the fruity coming first and legacy finish coming later. This specific brew is the cheapest from their product lines. This includes brewed alcohol which is pretty common to cheap sakes.
I might pick up wrong one as this brewery owns a lot of sophisticated product lines using better sake rice and technique. I would like to try other ones in future. The retail price before tax is $12.00.
