Heading up to the northern part of Japan, Dewazakura is brewed in Yamagata.
No sting at the first sip, pear like sweetness comes first and go full yet good flavor throughout the throat. I don’t say this is elegant, but do say this one has complicated and attractive mixture of strong and sophisticated flavors.
Not merely Dewa Sansan which is originated in Yamagata, but both malt and yeast come from Yamagata as well. This means this specific Dewazakura is 100% Yamagata origin sake. The retail price before tax is about $15.00.
