The first sip makes me aware of the brewery’s implicit yet strong confidence in this sake claiming “Just drink and you will know”. This sake does not need any vanity catchwords to appeal on the back label.

As its name implies, Kuroushi (Black Bull) is very bullish in terms of its flavor. The dryness, acidity, sweet rice flavor and alcohol stimulus are nicely integrated, but there are no compromise among those elements. The smell is not that impressive, but the taste is really good. This is not “Bullshit”!

I am quite happy with coming across this sake which is really value for money. The retail price after tax is $16.00.
